Travelling to Holy Island?
Our service 477 runs every Wednesday and Saturday until Easter, then daily over the holiday.
Holy Island is connected by a tidal causeway so the bus times vary day to day to accommodate the safe crossing times. This makes your trip different from any ordinary bus service and adds to the day on this lovely Northumberland island.
We will operate additional journeys on service 477 from Berwick Railway Station to Holy Island during the school holidays:
- Fri 25 March to Wednesday 13 April inclusive (excluding Sundays)
- Monday 30th May to Saturday 4th June inclusive
